AllPlant project
With the district heating system in the Alton area still in development, Wateringen-based firm Gakon has installed a high-performance boiler in the new AllPlant greenhouse. Our company has a wealth of experience working with polytunnels abroad. Gakon installed the most energy-efficient boiler, which complies with the most stringent standards and emits low levels of NOx. This contributes towards AllPlant’s aim of getting as close to zero energy as possible. The boiler is linked to the climate computer, so the climate in each plant section of the AllPlant greenhouses is just right.
When the greenhouses are connected up to the district heating system in a few years’ time, the boiler will provide a reliable back-up in case of any problems.
