The system analyst is the main point of contact and subject matter expert in all system and software solutions for Gakon Netafim.

In addition, this role is responsible for identifying opportunities for innovative solutions including both new technology as well as new applications for existing technology in line with local and global business objections.

This role also acts as Gakon Netafim representative in global technology projects to provide local expertise on regulatory matters and best practice.

• Main point of contact for solving and investigating user, local system, infrastructure and network problems which may include liaison with Head Office (Israel) and Global Service Desk (India)
• Manage and develop Netafim Gakon IT and communications resources consistent with local and group business objectives.
• Collect & define business processes demand needs with key users
• 1st level IT business support
• Identify opportunities for innovative solutions including both new technology as well as new applications for existing technology
• Project manage IT initiatives including the planning, tracking and execution phases
• Represent Netafim Gakon in global technology projects to provide local expertise on regulatory matters and best practice
• Co-ordination with Head Office (Israel) and Global Service Desk (India)
• Prepare and manage IT budget and address procurement needs
• Vendor management
• Develop new documentation and update existing processes for ticket resolution (NetIT) with a focus on promoting the ITIL.
• Develop, implement and maintain IT policies, procedures and disaster recovery plan(s)

Functievereisten

• Tertiary qualification in IT or related field
• Familiar with Business industrial processes knowledge
• Familiar with ERP terminology, concept & methodology (SAP is advantage)
• Advanced knowledge of computing software and equipment, general knowledge of computing network, database, programming logic, data modelling and processes.
• Knowledge of ITIL methodology.
• Experience supporting Office 365, Azure, Windows O/S, Outlook, Citrix, LAN, WAN, Cloud computing,
• Exposure to working in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT area
• A customer-centric approach and a clear understanding of strategies to enhance the customer experience
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills as demonstrated by resolving business problems with technological solutions
• Ability to build positive long-term relationships with internal local and overseas staff and external third-party vendors
• Ability to act quickly on your feet and embrace challenges with ease
