Gakon Horticultural Projects is a global greenhouse construction company that designs, produces, and builds complete greenhouse projects. We do this with our own steel and aluminium production from our own factory in the Netherlands. Since 1950, Gakon has been an innovative greenhouse builder of global greenhouse construction projects with a world of experience in turn-key projects, sales, and installation of greenhouses and sustainable installations for the horticultural sector. An indispensable partner for growers and investors.

Gakon Horticultural Projects in Wateringen is a leading global greenhouse construction company, with a team of around 85 employees. We design, produce, and build complete greenhouses ourselves, characterized by a high level of innovation. Our innovation has driven us to produce the world’s first floating greenhouse and the energy-producing ZonWindKas greenhouse. Gakon has over 69 years of experience in marketing and installing greenhouses, heating installations, screens, and turn-key projects. Throughout that time, we have proven ourselves to be an indispensable partner for growers.

Developments within Gakon

Not only have Gakon products been revamped over the past 60 years, there has been rejuvenation within the firm itself. In 2007, we moved to our new production site on Wateringse Veld industrial estate. Gakon has been active in the greenhouse horticulture sector for more than 69 year, but a lot has changed and been rejuvenated enormously over all those years, but much remains the same. With our enthusiasm, drive, and eye on market demand, we will continue to renew!
